What we ask

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree for example in Commercial Economics, International Business, Food Technology or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in ingredients or food-related sectors
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent relationship builder with strong influencing and listening skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a complex matrix environment
  • Collaborative team player with a results-driven mentality
  • Willingness to travel internationally (20–25%) and to work hybrid from our office in Amersfoort (2 days/week)
  • you are based in the Netherlands

  • Salary between €4,450 and €6,000 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time); 
  • Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 5% year-end bonus, 10% bonus, and a pension; 
  • Flexible working hours and ample opportunities to work from home; 
  • Card for train travel or €0.23 per km travel allowance (max 30 km one way).
  • 200 hours of annual leave, the option to buy or sell 40 extra hours, and 8% holiday allowance;

Vacancy description

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead Encaps and be part of the commercial team for Encaps & Dairy Proteins. You will be responsible for translating our commercial strategy into actionable plans for your assigned region and accounts. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating and closing contracts with both existing and new customers
  • Launching new products in the market in close collaboration with marketing and R&D
  • Managing demand forecasting, order intake, and customer planning
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Identifying market trends and turning them into concrete business opportunities
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives such as “Protecting the Value of Encaps” and “Winning with Key Accounts”
  • Driving commercial and digital excellence, including CRM and forecasting tools
  • Ensuring a best-in-class customer experience by working closely with supply chain, customer service, and other internal teams
