Our factory in Foxhol (Groningen area) is looking for a new proactive technical manager to ensure a safe and stable production of excipients to be used in pharmaceutical drug production (Superdisintegrants). Are you a people manager with the right technical background and affinity to design, plan, coordinate and execute the maintenance with several subcontractors?
What we ask
HBO/University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable study
Several years of experience with maintenance and project management
Pre: Experience with outsourcing contract management
Knowledge and experience with Maintenance management systems and methodologies, such as: RCM, TPM etc.
Linking technical maintenance to process safety management
Affinity with Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement Systems
Ability to coach, inspire and develop people.
Recognize the fundamental principle that effective cooperation is the cornerstone of productivity and success, understanding that collaboration enables the achievement of shared goals and ensures the completion of tasks efficiently
High level of pro-activeness, assertiveness and ownership
Fluent in Dutch; sufficient in English

Vacancy description
Working on and maintain a smooth and stable production process
Development of an maintenance strategy in line with the company strategy
Translation of the strategy into a SMART formulated year-plan
Analysis, development and implementation of improvements in line with the applicable quality and SHE standards
Efficient and quality minded management of the maintenance tasks
Planning of maintenance activities considering all related key parameters (availability of suppliers, planning, spare parts etc.) and in close alignment with the production department and other relevant stakeholders
Organizing, leading and executing small CAPEX projects
Monitoring of maintenance processes by means of Key Performance Indicators
Improve the output from, and the cooperation with suppliers by creating and maintaining efficient SLA’ s and work processes, monitoring and periodical evaluation of the activities and the output.
Ensure appropriate documentation in a regulated environment (e.g. work instructions, PM tasks, year plan, FMECA’s)
Maintenance representative, coordinator and host of (parts of ) internal and external quality audits.
Training and development of internal and external contributors to the maintenance processes.
Strive together with your teams to a better performance every day
Proactive and close collaboration within local Management Team and other (international) colleagues to contribute to overall business objectives
Member of the 24/7 consignment service management team – 1 week per 6
