Finance Operations Support (FTC - 6 months)
The Interim Finance Operations Support role is a short‑term assignment aimed at stabilising the UK finance setup during a period of capacity pressure. The role focuses on taking over UK‑specific operational and administrative finance activities, ensuring continuity of critical processes, and supporting a structured transition of this work out of Finance (e.g. to shared services or an alternative long‑term setup).

- Solid experience with UK‑specific finance processes (e.g. payroll, pensions, local compliance)
- Comfortable operating in a pragmatic, execution‑focused role
- Ability to quickly build oversight in complex operational setups
- Experience in transition or clean‑up assignments is a strong plus
- Independent, resilient and solution‑oriented
What we offer
Base salary: £42-44K

Deliverables (During Assignment)
- Stabilised execution of UK finance operations
- Documented overview of processes, workload and dependencies
- Clear transition plan for structural removal of operational work from Finance (together with Finance Lead UK)
- Clean handover of activities prior to contract end date
Key Responsibilities
- Take over selected UK‑specific finance operations, including:
- Payroll coordination and related administration
- Pension‑related finance activities
- Invoice processing and local accounts payable support
- Other recurring UK‑specific finance processes
- Ensure continuity and timely execution of business‑critical finance activities
- Create clear visibility of:
- Activities performed
- Process dependencies
- Volumes, timelines and pain points
- Document processes and handover requirements to support transition
- Actively support the transition of activities to our shared service center
- Work closely with the UK Finance lead and wider Finance organisation to reduce operational burden
