Employee Relations Manager
As Employee Relations Manager, you play a key role in shaping and executing the Employee Relations strategy within FrieslandCampina. You ensure compliance, consistency, and effective social dialogue while providing expert advice to senior leaders, HR teams, and employee representatives across the Netherlands.
What we ask
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 7+ years of relevant HR or experience in Employee Relations.
- Strong expertise in HR policies, employee relations, and Dutch labour law.
- Proven project management experience.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written and verbal).
- Strong advisory and communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Strategic thinker with a helicopter view and attention to detail.

Vacancy description
In this role, you are responsible for defining and implementing the Employee Relations agenda within RFC. You will design and improve Employee Relations policies, translate legal and social developments into practical frameworks, and ensure these are effectively implemented across the organization.
You act as a key advisor to senior leadership, HR Directors, Plant Managers, and HR Business Partners on all matters related to employee relations and social dialogue.
- Policy Development: Design and continuously improve ER policies and standards for the Netherlands, ensuring compliance and alignment with business and stakeholder needs.
- Training & Capability Building: Develop and deliver training for leaders and HR teams to ensure consistent understanding and proactive management of Employee relation matters.
- Policy Implementation & Compliance: Oversee the execution of ER policies, monitor compliance, and provide guidance to maintain legal and procedural consistency.
- Employee Participation: Maintain and strengthen effective participation structures, guiding collaboration with Works Councils and committees to achieve constructive dialogue and timely agreements.
- HR Project Support: Partner with the HRBP Supply Chain team and other HR functions to provide ER expertise and support with key projects and initiatives.
