Digital HR Specialist

As the Digital Specialist PS&S, your main purpose is to ensure continuity and improvements of our local/regional HR systems (closely connected to payroll) in line with our global digital strategy and guidelines. You will work closely with your IT counterpart in the region and be part of the Payroll and data quality team of Europe. This position acts at the intersection between HR payroll and IT.

  • You have knowledge of automated (HR) systems, preferably experience with local systems like ProTime, Nexon or Euhreka
  • Education: Bachelor level (6 to 8 years work experience) or Academic level (4 to 6 years work experience)
  • Knowledge of HR processes and design of HR Services delivery
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Fluent English written and spoken, Dutch language is a pre

What we offer

The Digital Specialist PS&S is part of the People Services & Solutions organization and reports to the Manager Payroll and Data Quality. PS&S Europe & Americas provides services to the Netherlands and Hungary. The hub also executes the payroll for both countries. Services model will be growing in the coming years.

Vacancy description

Functional management of local payroll related systems

  • Ensure continuity (e.g. troubleshooting of interfaces) of payroll related HR systems like Euhreka (NL), Nexon (Hungary), MyProtime (NL and Belgium) and Verzuimsignaal (NL)
  • Drive optimization and rationalization within our local system landscape in line with our global digital strategy and future landscape.

Data Quality

  • Improve data quality in strong collaboration with the HR master data specialist and the global digital HR team, by improving system configuration and interfaces
  • Execute together (system) data checks to ensure correct payroll

System vendor management

  • Ensure together with your IT counterpart that contracts and SLAs are in place
  • Monitor the performance of the local system vendors consistently
  • Drive improvements of our systems in line with our future digital direction and guidelines

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll operations and improve efficiency over the countries.
  • Drive standardization and automation in collaboration with Digital HR and Finance teams.
  • Bring the regional payroll system perspective in local payroll projects (such as Germany payroll project – new payroll provider/system)
