Category Procurement Intern - Specialties
Currently we have 3 positions available in the Direct Materials team for Category Procurement for FrieslandCampina. Two interns positions in the Packaging team and 1 intern position in the Specialties team.
During your internship, you will join the Global Procurement Ingredients Specialties/Packaging Team and will support with:
- Market analysis for different Ingredients sub-categories (eg: Dairy Raw materials, Modified starches, Flavors, PET Bottles, Beverage Carton, Metal cans, etc) to support the strategy development
- Support with sustainability roadmaps
- Support in tender processes
- Support on structuring spend data and category analysis
- Improve contract and quality control compliance
This position will give you the opportunity to experience category procurement dynamics at a global level, being part of a truly international team (we have more than 13 nationalities across both teams).

What we ask
You have to be enrolled in B.A., BSc or Masters during the entire internship!
We are looking for somebody who is proactive, with good communication skills and who is eager to learn and has an appetite for delivering results. English proficiency is required.
Excel skills are a plus.
Preferred start-date: Flexible start dates from March/2024 to May/2024
You're available to work within the department for 4-5 days a week (with a Hybrid working model)

You will be part of the Global Category Procurement team, supporting the team to organize their strategies, deliver savings & value in order for maximize success for FrieslandCampina.
You will also work closely with the finance team on budget, cost break down definition and value drivers.
Joining the Procurement department will bring you in contact with other departments such as R&D, Sales and Marketing at global level as well as external stakeholders.
