Intern Data Science

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science Intern to support our Digital End-to-End (E2E) team within Global Supply Chain & R&D. In this role, you will contribute to advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making across our manufacturing, R&D, procurement, planning, and logistics processes. You will help turn complex datasets into actionable insights that improve efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across our global operations.

What we ask

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or similar
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
  • Foundational understanding of machine learning, statistics, and analytical techniques
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
  • Basic proficiency in SQL
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities
  • Curiosity to understand supply chain and R&D processes and ability to connect data with business logic
  • Availability for a minimum 5-6 month internship

Vacancy description

As a Data Science Intern in the Digital E2E team, you will contribute to the digital transformation of our supply chain and R&D operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Exploring and preparing datasets from manufacturing, R&D, procurement, planning, and logistics domains
  • Building predictive and statistical models to support efficiency improvements, scenario planning, recommendation engines and decision-making models
  • Contributing to dashboards and automated reporting for global stakeholders
  • Running exploratory data analyses to uncover patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities
  • Helping improve existing analytical pipelines and recommend process enhancements
  • Presenting insights and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure your solutions align with real business needs

You will gain practical exposure to end-to-end digital initiatives that shape how our global supply chain and R&D functions operate.

You will join the Digital End-to-End (E2E) team, a global, cross-functional unit driving digital innovation across supply chain and R&D. The team includes:

  • Data Scientists working on predictive modeling, optimization, and analytics use cases
  • Data Engineers managing pipelines, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure
  • Analytics Translators who bridge business challenges with analytical solutions
  • Business stakeholders across manufacturing, procurement, planning, logistics, and R&D
