My journey so far at FrieslandCampina
“Originally, I am from Pakistan. I came to the Netherlands five years ago to do a Master’s in Economics at Tilburg University. Before joining FrieslandCampina, I gained working experience during a traineeship and as a Business Controller.
In April this year, I started my FrieslandCampina journey. In my work as a Controlling, Planning & Reporting Analyst Finance, I run ‘behind the scenes’ of financial reporting and am responsible for the Monthly Business Group Review (MBR) in our supply chain.
I play a key part in the preparation of documents, ensuring integrity and clarity of the storyline. I also work on several projects in collaboration with stakeholders across the supply chain, enhancing the reporting deliverables and capabilities.’’

Achieving efficiency and adding value
“Even though I have only been in this role for eight months, we have already accomplished a lot. One of the projects I am really proud of is the One MBR Project. In this project, the focus lies on automating the regular reporting cycle and making it more action-based. Automation allows for quicker preparation of visuals, so controllers can focus more on the story of underlying drivers. In the end, we achieve time efficiency and action-oriented MBR’s, with the local plant controllers focusing more on value added tasks.’’
