Jan, the storyteller at heart

Siranuch Rojanasthien, or Jan as she is usually known, started her professional journey in the world of media as a TV anchor in Bangkok. This early experience taught her the importance of clear, engaging storytelling and the power of connecting with an audience. Over time, Jan transitioned into leadership roles across several industries, including cosmetics, insurance, and food & beverage, always leveraging her ability to turn stories into strategic communications.

Today, Jan leads Public Affairs and Communications at FrieslandCampina Thailand, where she manages government relations and CSR programs to crisis communication and internal messaging. Her day-to-day work involves balancing strategic engagement with ministries and partners, aligning communications with business goals, and ensuring that FrieslandCampina’s brand is trusted and respected throughout Thailand.

The smiles that bring impact to life

"One of my proudest achievements is leading the Foremost One Million Smiles Year 5 initiative. It is one of the largest corporate social responsibility programs in Thailand. This program donated over one million cartons of Foremost Omega 369 UHT milk to children nationwide. But for me, it was never just about the donations", she explains.

She played a pivotal role in transforming the initiative into a national movement by building strong partnerships with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and key private sector organisations like BJC Big C and the Mirror Foundation. This collaboration elevated the project to a government-recognised agenda, making FrieslandCampina a trusted partner in child nutrition for the first time.

"I had the opportunity to lead the entire project, from designing stakeholder engagement strategies and organising high-profile national events to managing all communications and activating FrieslandCampina employees to personally participate in community milk distribution. This hands-on approach not only brought smiles to thousands of children but also strengthened employee pride and connection to the company’s purpose", she shares.

Jan identifies strongly with FrieslandCampina’s purpose of Nourishing by Nature; a commitment that goes beyond providing quality dairy products to creating sustainable value for people, communities, and the planet. For her, nourishment means trust, education, and long-term well-being.

Despite managing multiple responsibilities as a one-person team, Jan thrives on collaboration, resilience, and purpose. She leans on the support of colleagues across Corporate Affairs, including Legal, Regulatory Affairs, and ESG, to deliver consistent and impactful results. The combination of these values helps her turn challenges into opportunities every day.

Jan is energised by the meaningful impact her work creates in society and within FrieslandCampina itself. She feels grateful for the trust and development opportunities the company has given her, allowing her to grow her leadership skills, build high-level stakeholder relationships, and contribute to national initiatives that truly matter.
