What we ask

  • Degree in Food Technology, Business or related field
  • 6 years working experience in Business to Business sales
  • Regional exposure in sales/marketing
  • Early Life/Adult Nutrition experience in these markets 
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% to meet demands of the role
  • Strong drive, positive mind-set and team player
  • Performance and target driven, proven track record

Vacancy description

The Ingredients business group develops nutritious and functional ingredients that add value to existing products. The business group supplies natural ingredients based on milk, cheese whey and vegetable raw materials to industrial customers in the infant & toddler nutrition branch, the medical nutrition industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the young animal feed industry worldwide. 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Driving business growth on added value products on Ingredients level including new customer acquisition

  • Develop sales strategy to deliver short term success where segments allow, and build long term growth opportunities

  • Managing distributors and direct customers in assigned markets 

  • Prepare monthly business review, including market insight, competition & segment trend

  • Alignment with supply chain and customers to achieve forecast accuracy and on-time delivery

  • To establish an effective and efficient sales (support) organization (including price, promotion and conditions policies), in line with the Sales Strategy, resulting in the agreed upon quantitative and qualitative sales targets/forecasts

  • In partnership with Technical Service Manager to monitor innovation programs from a customer perspective (run in time, budget, customer requirements)
