Production Coordinator

FrieslandCampina Ingredients is looking for a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our 24/7 manufacturing operation. In this role, you’ll be the organizational backbone of the production floor—managing documentation, coordinating materials and resources, tracking production data, and supporting shift leadership to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

This is a hands-on role that blends administrative excellence with real operational impact.

Vacancy description

As a Production Coordinator, you will support the production management team by maintaining accurate and well-organized production documentation and records. You will manage administrative activities on the production floor while coordinating daily operational needs to ensure smooth and compliant manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and filing batch records, PDRs, PCRs, training records, and other production documentation
  • Updating production documents in training management systems and initiating required training
  • Printing batch reports, labels, and supporting documentation
  • Supporting timekeeping corrections related to overtime, vacation, training, and attendance
  • Maintaining internal attendance and disciplinary records
  • Tracking inventory and ordering production supplies, consumables, and uniforms
  • Collecting, entering, and reporting production data for compliance, audits, KPIs, and internal reporting
  • Supporting investigations by pulling and analyzing batch documentation
  • Submitting and tracking work orders
  • Conducting production rounds and supporting daily production planning
  • Backfilling for Shift Managers when needed, including:
    • Labor planning up to 72 hours in advance
    • Overseeing production schedules and adherence
    • Supporting employee discipline processes
    • Ensuring safety and product quality standards are met

This is an hourly, non-exempt role in a three-shift, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

You’ll be part of the production operations team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager and working closely with Shift Managers, operators, and cross-functional partners across safety, quality, and maintenance.

The role operates in a production environment involving chemicals and requires strict adherence to safety, environmental, and health standards. Appropriate PPE is required, and the work environment includes moderate to high noise levels.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $75,000 and $85,000.  Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education/training, and other considerations permissible by law.
