- University or college degree in finance or accounting (preferably with a relevant postgraduate qualification; eg. IFRS/Hungarian chartered accountant, ACCA, chartered auditor, etc.)
- At least 6 years of experience in finance & accounting or General Ledger accounting at a multinational company or at an SSC environment
- At least 1-3 years of experience in people management (spent directly developing, coaching and mentoring a team)
- Solid hands-on working knowledge to improve/transform RTR processes
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (eg. SAP)
- Advanced English knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate a team when working under pressure and within tight deadlines
- Strong people management, coordination and priorization skills
- Knowledge of LEAN/continous improvement and CI mindset
- Ability to make decisions on own level
- Ability to balance operational and strategic tasks

Stellenbeschreibung
Full-scale people management of a team of 8-10 accountants dealing with accounting and reporting in the Record to Report Labour cluster
Organize and optimize own team’s performance and ensure that the execution of Record to Report processes are in line with all relevant guidelines
Ensure that processes run optimally and financial reports are accurate and compliant to procedures and legislation
Implement changes according to the objectives of the GBDS
Ensure quality and timeliness of Record to Report processes
Ensure process integration and strong relationships with interdependent functions
Ensure the execution of tasks in line with the internal control framework.
Maintain compliance with internal and external controls, regulations with the support of Reporting&Accounting team
Ensure proper staffing and development of department personnel
Contribute to the development of departmental policies and training documents
Act as first escalation point in case of business enquiries
Contribute to the department process and system improvement initiatives
Ensure that R2R reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner
Lead, coach, develop and appraise employees within the team, communicate team goals, conduct team meetings
Responsible for driving continuous improvement in his/her team and meeting the CI target in the area and/or contribute to tower level CI targets
Identify bottle necks in work processes, provide proposals on improvement opportunities, ensure implementation and track progress
Lead assigned projects - promoting effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operation
