A development journey across asia

内容

Eviana joined Tiger Cubs Asia, FrieslandCampina’s regional talent development program designed to exchange expertise across Asian markets. The program placed her in Foremost Thailand as a Brand Manager, moving her from a familiar Indonesian market to an entirely new cultural and consumer landscape.

She saw this as an opportunity to “unleash her nature” by stretching her capabilities beyond her comfort zone, driven by her Passion for Results and her commitment to personal and professional growth.

Her previous role managing the competitive Powder GUM category at Frisian Flag Indonesia equipped her with strong fundamentals in specialized nutrition, consumer insight, and medical communication skills she was excited to bring into a mature market like Thailand.

Learning to lead in a new market

Transitioning from Indonesia to Thailand required Eviana to rebuild her understanding of consumer behavior from the ground up. Without her usual support system, she developed hyper-agility, cross-cultural intelligence, and professional grit as she learned to navigate new stakeholders, local nuances, and a different pace.

Her role in Thailand focused on leading Portfolio Management for the Kids category, contributing to science-led value propositions and marketing assets which always guided by local mentorship that grounded her decisions in Thai consumer reality.

One of her most memorable moments came in her first week: participating in a focus group with Thai mothers. Their insights directly shaped packaging and portfolio adjustments, giving her a “close-to-impact” experience where strategy translated into real market outcomes. Her work combined FrieslandCampina’s global frameworks with local authenticity, reinforcing the importance of The Power of We in cross-country collaboration.

Why talent mobility matters

内容

Through Tiger Cubs Asia, Eviana discovered how cross-country collaboration strengthens FrieslandCampina’s impact across the region. She witnessed firsthand how markets like Frisian Flag Indonesia and Foremost Thailand each bring unique strengths, from deep local expertise to mature-market discipline. This mutual exchange builds a unified Asia team capable of addressing nutrition challenges collectively, not in silos.

Her proudest milestone was presenting her Kids Portfolio recommendations to the regional team—validation that her contribution mattered. Beyond technical skills, she developed resilience, self-reliance, and a global mindset, returning home with a renewed sense of purpose: to contribute not just to Indonesia, but to FrieslandCampina’s regional mission of delivering better nutrition across Asia.
