Freedom to make an impact
“What I enjoy most about my role is the freedom I have to shape it according to my own ideas,” Natalie shares. “When I started at FrieslandCampina, I felt that I could truly make a difference with the knowledge I brought to the company, and that turned out to be the case.” If you have a strong idea and support it with a solid business case, there is real opportunity to move forward. “If you can persuade, you get the budget, and with that budget we can achieve a lot,” Natalie explains. “There is room to accomplish something that hasn’t been done before. If you have a good idea and a strong business case, you get the chance to execute it, even if you don’t have prior experience,” she emphasises.

Driving efficiency together
Natalie and her team constantly look ahead to improve the way the organisation works. “We continuously ask ourselves how we can make the company more efficient and which applications can help us achieve that,” she explains. At the same time, collaboration within the team remains essential. “For me, it’s important to get things moving, but also to give others the opportunity to continue that progress,” Natalie notes. “We work hard to achieve tangible results, and that’s something that gives me energy every day,” she concludes.
