Channel & Category Development Manager
The role is responsible for driving profitable sales and category growth across DLMI categories within the Channel by identifying cross-category opportunities based on a deep understanding of the channel’s objectives, strategies, and target shoppers. This includes developing detailed channel plans by category with tailored POP activations, promotional programs, and assortments. The role also champions channel-specific insights across the organization, ensures DLMI leverages its full scale and expertise, and leads the implementation of Perfect Store initiatives through a continuous improvement process of defining, executing, measuring, and learning.
What we ask
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Commercial Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial roles with managerial experience in Senior Account Management, Trade Marketing, or Brand Management within a multinational company (MNC).
Channel & Category Expertise: Strong knowledge of trade marketing, category management, customer/channel segmentation, and shopper insights.
Leadership & Project Management: Proven experience in team leadership, business planning, and project implementation.
Communication & Influence: Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, particularly within an Asian cultural context; fluent in English and open to travel.

Vacancy description
To drive profitable sales and category growth within and across DLMI categories in the Channel by:
Identifying channel-specific opportunities and strategies at a total DLMI level (i.e., cross-category), based on an in-depth understanding of the channel’s unique objectives, growth strategies, needs, and target shopper.
Translating these opportunities and strategies into detailed channel plans by category— including point-of-purchase (POP) activation plans, and customized promotional programs and assortments where appropriate.
Championing channel-specific insights and needs throughout the organization.
Ensuring DLMI leverages its total size, scale, and expertise within the Channel.
Championing DLMI’s Perfect Store initiatives and facilitating the four-step process: define, execute, measure, and learn to drive continuous improvement.
