Fiona's story

Fiona has been working for almost four years at FrieslandCampina and finds it important to work for an employer with a strong purpose. “I’m proud to work for a world leading nutrition company with a lot of knowledgeable and professional colleagues who genuinely care about what we do and each other.” Fiona is the mother of a lovely one year old girl and appreciates FrieslandCampina’s attention to creating a good work life balance for all employees.

I find it important to spend time with my family, next to being successful in my job.

Passionate by Nature

Fiona works in Talent Acquisition for over 10 years. “I love my job and get a lot of energy when I deliver a good topic, have a productive meeting, learn new insights from the business, identify a good candidate, close a critical vacancy or succeed a tough negotiation”. In the years she has been working for FrieslandCampina, her portfolio evolved constantly. “I had the opportunity to work across many corporate business areas, like IT, digital commerce, trading and procurement”.

FrieslandCampina is always working on ways to do things better, also within the Talent Acquisition team. At the beginning of this year, Fiona took the role of Product Owner for the Corporate Office team. “It really fuels my passion and gives me a new perspective contributing to our strategy.”

Contributing to the company

In Fiona her roles she really feels that she is contributing to the company and our purpose. It drives her to make nutritious food available for the world. “I find it even more important since I’ve been a mom myself. Besides that, I really appreciate my team. They are all professional, but informal. We have a highly engaged team with a lot of expertise and positive energy. We work independently to drive our business results, but also share challenges, feedback and best practices with each other”.
