Master Data Management Officer

Wat we vragen

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience working in HR or related field, with knowledge of HR processes and systems
  • Experience in HR data management and master data objects related to HR systems, such as employee data, compensation structures, benefits, etc.
  • Excellent office-based administrative experience with regular contact between various departments, understanding the importance of data sharing and data management best practices
  • Strong knowledge of customer care techniques and processes in the domain of HR.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR master data management specifically, with a successful track record of delivering high-quality data management performance
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, collaborating with HR, IT, payroll, Digital HR, and other related departments
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations, as well as familiarity with industry standards for HR data management.
  • Experience in using data management
  • Proficient in English (other languages a definite plus)
  • Digital literate (MicroSoft products, ServiceNow, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Organizing and prioritizing skills with the ability to remain aware of deadlines 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying data quality issues, root cause analysis, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Pays attention to details while having a complete view of all aspects related to data protection, quality and usage

Vacaturetekst

The main objective of this role is to establish and maintain accurate and consistent employee data across the various global workforce admin processes and related HR applications and ensure compliance with policies and regulations on a global scale. This involves monitoring and improving data quality through the development and maintenance of a centralized repository and data lineage documentation. The role also involves the day-to-day management of employee data requests and changes to ensure data maintenance processes are effectively managed and aligned with data management strategy. 

 

1. Establish and maintain a single source of truth for employee data across various HR applications 
Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of data on a global scale, coordinates with other departments and SSCs to ensure this
Monitor data quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement 
Develop and maintain centralized repository that includes all necessary information about the data used in the organization
Ensure data usage and management are aligned with policies, regulations and makes sure any changes are implemented securely and accurately 


2. Master Data Management 

  • Execute the HR data management strategy in alignment with GBS Data Management Strategy 
  • Understand the requirements of master data in HR systems and its relationship with upstream/downstream applications such as payroll or other HR applications
  • Execute data checks in line with Data Governance metrics / KPIs that enable monitoring and effective measurement of Master Data Governance. For instance monitoring and reporting on Data Quality, consistency, integrity and completeness 
  • Work closely with the Digital HR team to ensure data is seamlessly integrated and consistently reliable throughout HR systems to enable seamless HR processes and system integration
  • Work with other stakeholders across the HR to identify opportunities to improve HR processes through data analysis and management

 

3. Checking, validation and cleansing of data

  • Run reports and queries to highlight data quality issues
  • Establishes data validation rules that checks if updated data meets specified quality criteria
  • Uses tools, software, technical skills to clean and standardize data. 
  • Analyses data quality, detects anomalies, and identifies root causes of data quality issues and ways to improve 
  • Execute audit checks in line with overall Role Based Permissioning (RBP) framework
  • Approve data access requests in line with overall Role Based Permissioning (RBP) framework

 

4. Day to day management of requests and changes

  • Fully understand the data maintenance processes and use this knowledge to effectively manage future employee data changes
  • Check and approve master data creation and/or change requests, in line with data quality standards and agreed governance
  • Robustly facilitate any remedial work needed on a request
  • Monitor performance of external vendor (Wipro) with regards to employee data mutation requests
  • Efficiently monitor tickets, prioritise and deal/dispatch to achieve fulfilment of KPIs (within data quality standards)
  • Keep regular communication with all interested parties, ensuring that they know the status of pending requests and any related issues

 
5. Supporting the business

  • Act as second line support for the business 
  • Understand different business areas and related data management needs
  • Provide necessary training to the People Services Officers (Tier 1)
