This position plays the role of Finance Business Partner supporting the Supply Chain team in providing financial perspectives on operational matters.

What we ask

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CMA is an plus
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in the finance department of an organization, an FMCG is an advantage
    • Experienced in the use of SAP is a plus
    • Advance in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Skills:
    • Analytical thinking, commercial mindset
    • Good stakeholder management and strong business partnering skills.
    • Self-starter, capable of initiating improvement projects with minimum supervision
    • Ability to communicate across functions at various levels
    • Good command of English and computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Vacancy description

  • Control supply chain budget (overhead, transportation cost, warehouse (inbound-outbound), inventory write-off) and proactively provide insightful analysis and proposals to the business team so as to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure strong controls over FIFO in raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods and ensure physical stocks are reconciled to books stocks. Aged stocks are appropriately reflected in financial statements. Lead the quarterly/ bi-annually physical inventory count process
  • Effectively manage Inventory days (DIO)
  • Assist business team in controlling inventory level to maximize working capital.
  • Ensure Capital Spending is within the approved budget and aligns with Internal and Local Regulations
  • Ensure completeness of monthly depreciation run
  • Asset management: leading in Fixed asset physical count process and quarterly idle FA review
  • Prepare financial reports which include budgeting and forecasts, monthly closings, audit and tax reporting for supply chain-related costs. Provide insights by own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments, based on reporting guidelines.
  • Closely work with the Supply Chain team to drive efficiency and together with the Operations Excellence team to take the lead in validating and consolidating savings initiatives.
  • Take the lead in Power BI reports project for all kinds of SC Finance reports.
  • Assist Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager in preparing and validating business cases
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned according to business requirements.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
