Intern Global Learning and Development

Interested in how organizations develop their people? Join our Global Learning & Development team as an intern and gain practical experience in shaping learning initiatives that strengthen employee capabilities across FrieslandCampina’s international network.

You will support the team in a wide range of activities (view examples below) where you will learn about L&D expertise, prioritization, stakeholder management and more. You will also experience working in a big, unique, cooperative organization.

What we ask

  • You are, **at least a third-year**, university or applied sciences student (bachelor / master) in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, HR, Management);
  • During your internship you must be registered with an educational institution;
  • You have a strong affinity with HR and Learning & Development;
  • You are adaptive, proactive, hands-on and collaborative team player;
  • You speak and write fluent English! (**Dutch is an asset, not a hard requirement**);
  • You are looking for a work-internship (To clarify: this is not a thesis-internship. If you want to write your thesis in parallel this is possible, but in your own time);
  • Available for 4 or 5 days a week for a period of 6 months

What we offer

An internship in the FrieslandCampina Learning & Development team entails many responsibilities and is more than a standard internship. You are part of the team and are fully involved in the department. Dependent on your development & performance, you might even fully run your own projects.

Vacancy description

Your key activities can include (to be determined in discussion):

  • Support a global digitalization project focused on improving the learning request process. You will learn to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and contribute to the development of robust global learning processes within FrieslandCampina. This project will provide hands-on exposure to how global processes are designed, aligned, and implemented, while also building your project management skills.
  • Contribute to program management activities for key leadership development programs. You will support coordination with stakeholders, and assist in strengthening program management procedures. This will provide valuable insight into how global leadership development programs are structured and delivered.
  • Help improve learning and development processes by identifying current pain points and brainstorming ways to streamline workflows. You will contribute ideas, concepts, or simple tools that could bring more structure and efficiency to existing L&D processes.
