BG OT Engineer
Within our Global Supply Chain organization, we are looking for Business Group OT Engineers, the newest addition to our Global OT team. As BG OT Engineer, your focus will be to monitor, evaluate and improve the OT Performance of our factories. With 50 factories worldwide and a diverse OT landscape, we will need your expertise to help the local OT teams in developing and executing OT strategies, based on the perceived risks and asset life cycle information.
The key challenge for this role is combining in-depth knowledge of the OT Landscape, a strong understanding of the FrieslandCampina businesses, and excellent organizational skills to connect with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
What we ask
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
You have medium to senior-level knowledge and experience in OT engineering and automation platforms, preferably in a related industry.
You have an understanding of the impact of OT systems on production processes (e.g., EHEDG, ATEX, HACCP, HAZOP).
You have sound knowledge of OT-relevant standards (ITIL, ISA88, ISA95, ISA99, GAMP, ISA62443, NEN3140) and how to apply them.
You have sound knowledge of OT Security (NIS2, NIST2.0, Incident Management) and experience handling data (e.g., database management, secure data extraction from the OT domain to external platforms, and system performance).
You have very good knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is a strong plus.

Maintain site OT availability by mitigating cybersecurity risks, business threats, and obsolescence through proactive maintenance, monitoring, and operational solutions.
Support Decision-Making: Implement OT-ITIL activities from the OT Service Catalogue to assist site and BG OT managers in making informed decisions.
Own and protect site OT architecture, ensuring modifications align with company standards and can be maintained by the OT maintenance organization.
Cover all OT systems (Level 0-3.5 of the ISA95 model) with a medium to long-term outlook (1-25+ years).
Perform tasks derived from the OT Service Catalogue, including OT infrastructure, maintenance and monitoring, data analytics, application services, security, and adherence to policy and standards.
Build strong relationships with internal teams (Global and Local OT, Digital, IT) and external partners (OEMs, system integrators, and notified bodies) to address operational challenges.
Meet personal and operational objectives, including activity completion rates, site improvements, and successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and at the required quality.
