  • Graduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economy 
  • 3-5 years experience in Commercial Controlling 
  • Understanding and applying the principles of internal control policies and accounting procedures/Italian legal and tax requirements local and international (IFRS) corporate reporting standards
  • Knowledge of good business control
  • Experience in retail commercial environments
  • Able to identify areas of financial risk and opportunities
  • Commercial knowledge, knowing how to improve results within the business model
  • Fluent in English

The Commercial Controller is responsible for the proper Controlling, and Accounting of the Sales and Marketing Departments of the FU. Will act as a Business Partner of the commercial area, providing financial analysis to facilitate the optimal use of commercial resources, and ensuring that commercial operations adhere to financial, legal, and corporate requirements and accounting practices. 

 

In this role you will be in charge of:

 

  • Coordinate the forecast of Volumes Net Sales and customer Contributions to ensure alignment with monthly business planning (Budget, RF, OL)
  • Responsible for periodic internal reporting.
  • Responsible for maintaining a strong internal control environment within commercial operations compliant with the Internal Control Framework and risk management guidelines.
  • Delivery of recurring and ad-hoc commercial reporting, for instance, volume and net sales development versus budget/forecast/plan.
  • Analyses short and long-term to support financial-based decisions.
  • Work in close alignment with the Manager Customer Supply Chain (head of Customer Service, planning, and logistics) to optimize internal processes and cost efficiency.

 

The Commercial Controller needs to work closely with the Sales and Marketing manager and teams, as well as with central Finance functions based in Barcelona, Amersfoort (the Netherlands), and the Financial Shared Service Center based in Budapest (Hungary).
