Vacancy description
Supervision, Safety & Quality:
Coordinates all operational activities on the production line assigned to him to ensure efficient operation in accordance with all safety, quality and GMP procedures and work instructions. Ensures all safety and quality checks are carried out as per work instructions and timely recorded in appropriate logbook and checklists. Supervisory tasks are complementary to machine operation tasks.
2. Machine Operation:
Operates the assigned production machine according to the company procedure and work instruction in order to efficiently achieve the set output and quality level.
3. Hygiene:
Maintains a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness of the immediate work environment and equipment according to legal requirements, company procedure and work instruction in order to ensure safety of the products.
4. Machine Breakdown Reports:
Maintains logbook of production downtimes, output on shift-by-shift basis and alerts Shift Leader and Resident Engineer of machine malfunctions according to work instruction and procedure in order to minimize machine idle time.
5. Housekeeping & Safety Procedure Compliance:
Carries out all safety measures according to the company’s procedure and work instructions in order to prevent accidents as much as possible within the immediate working environment. Leads his team members by example and by holding everybody accountable for compliance.
6. Product Quality Compliance:
Carries out quality inspection of output according to work instruction aimed at immediate detection of substandard products and takes immediate action upon these defects. Informs Shift Leader to take further action and prevent defects from entering the downstream production process.
