Demand Planning Excellence Lead

Within the Global Supply Chain organization of FrieslandCampina we are looking for an energetic and team-driven Demand Planning Excellence Lead.
With our Global Logistics & Planning Excellence Team, you will help our Customer Supply Chains attain a higher maturity level in Demand Planning. In the process, you will drive performance improvement, you will be setting and driving ambitious standards, you will be boosting capability and improve operational lives of our Planning Community, and you will own and drive the realization of significant improvements on forecast accuracy & forecast bias, inventory level and supply chain cost.

What we ask
· At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in Demand Planning, with experience in supply planning and other supply chain functions preferred
· >2 years of line management experience in an operational Supply Chain role is preferred
· “Operational excellence” experience with proven knowledge and experience in working with one or more methodologies such as “Lean” or “Six Sigma”.
· A successful track record delivering results in terms of business or implemented projects.
· Knowledge of target setting and follow-up processes; Performance Control Management
· Relevant and demonstrated experience and success in change management and project management, preferably gained in an international business environment
· Knowledge of tools and systems linked to Demand Planning, preferably OMP and SAP S4/Hana.
· Knowledge of latest trends and developments in both the Demand Planning and the Change Management field.
· Influencing and stakeholder management skills without hierarchical power and in a senior stakeholder environment; proven track record of working in complex global organizations and as such able to create and maintain relationships and achieve success via collaboration rather than hierarchy.
· Languages: English and preferably one other language

As a Demand Planning Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for driving the Demand Planning maturity in our organization.
- Drive Demand Planning maturity across the organization
- Design, improve, and implement planning tools and standards
- Lead adoption of data-driven forecasting and new technologies (Anura DP / SAP S4 Hana)
- Ensure global teams effectively use planning tools and processes
- Deliver actionable insights to improve performance
- Lead and execute large-scale improvement programs
- Standardize ways of working and performance management globally
- Build capabilities through training, coaching, and best practice sharing
- Develop and maintain a strong Demand Planning Community of Practice
- Integrate Demand Planning standards into the global OWOW framework
- Foster collaboration between teams and key stakeholders
- Drive innovation and feature development in planning systems and reporting
- Shape and validate the strategic direction of Demand Planning
- Contribute to cross-functional, end-to-end supply chain initiatives

A highly skilled and experienced team with program and project managers along the grass-to-glass supply chain, across FrieslandCampina worldwide. Specifically, you will work together intensively with the other Demand Planning Excellence lead, where you jointly lead the work on the Demand Planning tooling & capability development, and with the other domains within Excellence, such as Supply Planning, Customer Care and Logistics.

The Logistics & Planning Excellence team is part of the Global Operational Excellence & Digital Team, next to Manufacturing Excellence, Digital Supply Chain and Program Management. The Global Operational Excellence & Digital Team improves the Performance and the daily lives of our Supply Chain employees to become and remain the Nr. 1 Dairy Supply Chain.
