Farmer Support Specialist
Small farmer development Executive/officer is responsible for planning and implementing the activities for continuous improvements in agri and livestock management for local farmers to ensure the availability of quality milk in required volumes. The position requires creating a platform for farmers to ensure the cost-effective quality of milk by providing them with proper animal nutrition and health care products & advice. To create awareness in farmers about livestock farming practices and provide them the inputs at economical prices. The job incumbent needs to deploy and train the right workforce at the right locations to achieve the optimum efficiency and effectiveness level.

Stellenbeschreibung
1- Ensure FHSE is a top priority and compliance with FHSE is part of all operations.
2- Above all safety would be the primary responsibility of his/her job.
3- To achieve the target milk volumes from DF, PF, and CDFs.
4- To develop and strengthen the relationship with the farmers thereby increasing the share of direct source, DF, PF, and CDF.
5- To create a platform for local farmers to ensure better livestock nutrition and health.
6- To Train farmers, especially female farmers to adopt the best dairy practices.
7- To develop a knowledge base and awareness at the farm level to produce cost-effective and quality milk through better livestock management. 8- To visit DFs, PFs & CDFs and maintain a log, keep contact with them by telephone, and review the monthly improvement at the farm due to visits as per the set targets.
9- Held meetings with farmers, promotional activities, and medical camps impressively in the assigned area.
10- To achieve the assigned targets, the core focus should be on the selected locations to increase milk production, decrease the cost of production, and decrease mortality.
11- To take measures to protect the animals of FCEPL farmers from different diseases, by proper vaccination, like HS, FMD, and BQ, as per the target numbers.
12- For the better health of the animals, ensure deforming and diagnosis of subclinical mastitis. To minimize the decrease in milk production during the days of fodder shortage by promoting the urea-treated wheat straw, urea-treated paddy straw, hay, and silage as per the target numbers.
