Manager Supply Planning
The Manager Supply Planning Cream is responsible for the E2E Supply Planning of the Cream sites Lummen & Nuenen serving mostly BG FC-Professional. This entails the planning functions supply network planning, detailed scheduling, material planning and inventory coordination.
As Manager Supply Planning of the Cream portfolio, you are responsible for an efficient production plan and optimal inventory levels to deliver high value products at agreed market service to our customers. To meet these standards, it’s required to manage the 3-18 months S&OP horizon as well as the operational 13weeks processes.
Together with broader E2E Supply Chain functions you create and deliver a vision and strategy that results in strong operational results balancing Costs, Cash and Service.
A strong team of 5 direct FTE and 18 indirect planning FTE’s is reporting to the Manager Supply Planning Cream. The role is Amersfoort based with the estimation to be 2 days per week at site Lummen and about 1 day per week at site Nuenen to successfully manage the teams and functional relations. The Manager Supply Planning Cream reports to the S&OP and Supply Planning Director FC-Professional.
What we ask
- Master Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management
- APICS (or equivalent) certification in case Master degree is not in SC Management
- S&OP experience, preferably of Gartner maturity level 3 or 4
- Knowledge of planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS and MRP
- Experience in working in multi-functional groups and matrix organization
- Managerial experience in supply chain
- Understanding of the Dairy Supply chain (from raw cream to end product)
- Ability to share and convey the E2E Supply Chain and Planning vision
- Capable to build a true relation of trust with both commercial and supply chain business partners
- Well-developed Analytical Skills
- Good Communication and clear decision-making capabilities
- Adaptability to work throughout all organizational layers
- Transformation / Change management capabilities
- Fluency in English

Key responsibilities:
- Managing and developing the team
- Running Cream S&OP cycle, monthly Plant Supply Reviews Lummen & Nuenen and Demand & Supply Balancing Cream
- Responsible for strategy / tactical / operational / daily supply planning, driving the optimal balance of Service, Cash & Costs in good collaboration with other E2E Supply Chain functions like Customer Supply Chain, Make, Procurement, Quality, Finance and others.
- Responsible for RCCP for the total Cream network as input for Commercial 12Q plans, Capacity optimization and Volume Allocation decisions across sites.
- Responsible for the Cream Supply Planning vision / strategy for upcoming 2 - 5 years
- Key point of contact towards all commercial entities sourcing from the Cream supply network, e.g. including BG R&A and EU regarding retail spray cans.

The Supply Planning Cream team consist of 5 direct FTE and 18 indirect planning FTE’s across Lummen & Nuenen and 20+ logistics employees in Nuenen.
The Planning function roles are Supply Network Planning, Inventory Coordination, Detailed Scheduling and Material Planning.
The total S&OP and Supply Planning team is a talent driven team with a growth mindset to support the ambition of the commercial businesses. We are responsible for the E2E Supply Planning of the Cream, Butter, Milkpowder and Encaps network.
