We are looking for a new Legal Specialist to support Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance team. In this role you will join our quest to legal excellence by doing research, preparing and reviewing legal documents while collaborating with your colleagues from the Legal, Ethics & Compliance team. This job is all about providing outstanding legal support, being efficient and closely collaborating with your (internal) clients and team.

Who you are:
We are looking for someone who’s a legal expert with at least 3 years of experience in a legal (support) role. Here’s the ideal blend:
- You have a (Bachelor’s) degree in Law and relevant working experience
- You are precise, logical and a self starter
- Experience in project management is a plus
- Legal tech savviness and experience with IT solutions are a plus.
- You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in an international environment? Even better, then you know how to navigate diverse teams and cultures!

Vacancy description
What’s the role about?
- First-line legal support: you support business stakeholders with their legal questions. Think for instance about colleagues in Sales, Marketing or Procurement roles. To get you off to a flying start we have established guidelines that you can use to, including notes, fallback options and legal templates.
- Contracting: depending on your experience you will advise on (low-complexity) legal contracting matter. For example NDAs, Material Transfer Agreements for R&D, DPAs and general terms and conditions of purchase and commercial contracts with B2B customers.
- Trademark protection: you get to work with internal and external partners to protect our trademarks and arrange authorization letters.
- Legal templates management: you manage and oversee legal templates, making sure they are up-to-date and follow our procedures.
- Building legal knowledge solutions: you support in the creation of easy to use global legal templates, maintaining contract clause libraries and support building in constructing a legal landing page as a hub for relevant legal resources and information.
- Privacy & Data Protection: support our Corporate departments with practical advise on how they protect personal data.

You will become a member of the Legal Shared Service Centre and a member of the Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance team. The Global Legal, Ethics & Compliance team consists of more than 60 legal professionals, spread across 15 countries. The Legal Shared Service Centre consists of 4 legal professionals, who are all based in Budapest, Hungary. You will report to the Legal Director responsible for the Legal Shared Service Centre.
