The subsidies department of FrieslandCampina (part of corporate tax Amersfoort) is looking for an experienced subsidy consultant / funding expert who is responsible for the preparation and submission of funding applications.
What we ask
To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following characteristics and qualifications:
- Academic / Master (WO)
- Circa 3 years of experience with subsidies, especially the WBSO
- Experience with energy and sustainability funding schemes, such as Veki, DEI+ and SDE++ is appreciated
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to hold subsidy presentations for internal stakeholders
- Solution-oriented, flexible and proactive working attitude, seeking for possible subsidy projects in the organization
- Independent worker, who is seeking advice/support when needed
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- A hands-on attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Vacancy description
As subsidy consultant you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to subsidies, such as prospect identification, proposal writing, proofreading up to submission.
Your tasks will be diverse and include the following:
- Inform project managers and research about specific funding opportunities
- Match new project ideas and ambitions with existing funding opportunities
- Help with writing a competitive funding application and proofread draft versions
- Prepare and submit applications including project budget and annexes
- Write articles in our quarterly funding newsletter
- Keep our funding website up-to-date
- Stay informed about new funding instruments and subsidy programms relevant to our the Dutch activities of our company

See all colleagues on LinkedInYou are part of multidisciplinary team that is formally placed under Corporate Tax. The team of 4 handles all pre-submission and post-endorsement funding activities of the Dutch divisions, units and opco’s of FrieslandCampina.
As subsidy consultant you focus on the pre-submission activities.
You interact with a wide range of FrieslandCampina project managers and R&D staff in and outside the Netherlands. You organize workshops or webinars to inform people about relevant funding schemes and how to prepare a proposal that stands out.
On top of that you also stay in touch with the project officers of funding organizations, such as RVO, NWO and the European Commission.
