Joost's story

Joost has been working in the role of Manager Distribution Center in Maasdam for the last year and a half, but he has been working at FrieslandCampina for ten years. He started in Veghel as a Supply Network Planner and he ended up at his current job through various other positions. “I like to discover new things and try to master it. At FrieslandCampina, I have the space and confidence to do this, even if I don't have much experience with this yet.”

Working with well-known brands, new techniques and a very diverse team is what drives me!

Entrepreneurial by Nature

Joost likes to use new developments to solve old problems. “I look for innovations and new perspectives to take the company to a higher level. I don't want to be hindered by the known”.

Joost's team consists of approximately 75 colleagues. He is also part of the management team that manages the warehouses and transport for the Dutch market. “Every day I have intensive contact with my own team to carry out the operation. In combination with building the future of our organization, this ensures that it remains exciting and challenging.”

“My colleagues really care about the business and each other. I think that's great to see. It gives me a lot of energy when we achieve success together. The atmosphere is informal, there is not only hard work, but also a lot of laughter! I really like the diversity of people, backgrounds and roles, which gives me many new insights”.
