Global Supply Chain Transformation Project Manager

FrieslandCampina's Global Supply Chain is executing a €500 million (savings) transformation across 50+ factories and 15,000 FTEs. As transformation project manager in our Result Delivery Office, you'll lead the integration of two critical savings tracking systems and prepare communications for senior stakeholder meetings, next to analyzing our savings numbers.

This is an intense, high-visibility role that combines digital product ownership with senior stakeholder management and analyzing skills. You'll move seamlessly between deep-diving into system integrations and preparing transformation insights for presentations to senior leaders. You'll work with Supply Chain colleagues across the organization and globe, translating complex data into insights and decisions. You bring:

  • minimum 6-8 years of experience in project management, product ownership, or transformation roles within international organizations, preferably FMCG or consultancy environments;
  • proven ability to manage high-intensity workloads with competing priorities and tight deadlines without compromising quality;
  • highly structured project management approach, yet flexible enough to handle daily ad hoc requests that require immediate action;
  • strong digital and IT literacy: you understand systems, data integration and tools like Power BI, with ability to drive technical conversations with IT teams based on end-user needs;
  • experience with system integrations or migrations, ideally involving financial tracking or ERP systems;
  • financial acumen to understand costs,
  • translate data into executive-ready business insights;
  • senior stakeholder management: you've dealt with and prepared presentations to senior leadership;
  • academic background in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Finance or related field;
  • fluency in English; Dutch is a strong advantage;
  • current residence in the Netherlands (we cannot provide relocation support for this role).

Stellenbeschreibung

As transformation project manager, you will own the integration and optimization of two savings tracking systems—the backbone of our €500M Performance+ program. Simultaneously, you'll serve as a strategic partner, preparing high-stakes communications for our most senior decision-makers.

This role demands someone who can shift gears rapidly: one hour you're deep in technical specifications with IT teams, the next you're preparing senor stakeholder communications. You'll handle everything from strategic system roadmaps to tactical meeting coordination—because in transformation, execution excellence happens at every level.

Your key responsibilities:

System Integration & Product Ownership:

  • lead the end-to-end integration of two savings tracking systems into one unified platform, managing technical, financial, and user experience requirements;
  • establish and execute strategic roadmap for system optimization, including user adoption, financial workflow alignment, data integrity, and Power BI integration;
  • act as primary owner working with IT teams and technical experts to drive system enhancements and resolve complex integration challenges;
  • ensure the system meets current business needs while building for future scalability;
  • manage access rights, user training, change management, and ongoing system support.

Executive Communication & Strategic Analysis:

  • prepare numerical and textual reports for Supervisory Board, Executive Team (including CEO), and Global Supply Chain Leadership;
  • translate complex transformation data into clear, actionable insights tailored to each executive audience;
  • conduct deep-dive performance analyses to identify trends, risks, opportunities;
  • support preparation and facilitation of monthly Tier 6 reviews with C-level stakeholders.

Project & Program Management:

  • drive structured project delivery across multiple parallel workstreams with competing deadlines;
  • manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across the organization;
  • proactively identify and remove roadblocks, escalating strategically when needed;
  • plan, lead, and facilitate cross-functional meetings ensuring alignment and progress.

Operational Excellence & Ad Hoc Support:

  • provide high-judgment operational support to RDO leadership on urgent, time-sensitive matters;
  • handle dynamic daily requests ranging from meeting logistics coordination to strategic analyses—all requiring senior-level execution;
  • ensure seamless governance processes that enable 10+ workstreams to deliver against transformation targets;
  • be the reliable backbone that allows senior leadership to focus on strategic decisions.

You will report to the Project Manager GSC OpEx Excellence Projects and work closely with Supply Chain Directors, Finance teams, Digital/Data Analytics colleagues, and external McKinsey consultants. Daily interaction with executives is inherent to this role.

You'll join the Result Delivery Office (RDO) within Global Supply Chain's Operational Excellence and Digital team. The RDO drives the Performance+ transformation program—a three-year initiative to deliver €500 million in cost savings and cash improvements across FrieslandCampina's entire supply chain network spanning 10 workstreams.

The team currently consists of 2 FrieslandCampina colleagues (including one data analyst) supported by McKinsey consultants and Finance partners. This is a high-performing, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift within hours and where both strategic thinking and operational execution are equally valued. You'll work alongside entrepreneurial professionals who operate comfortably at the intersection of strategy, data, operations, technology, and executive decision-making.
