Development Specialist
Define and execute strategy and the project portfolio of product development of an assigned product group in line with the OpCo strategy, implement and manage the project organization, in order to contribute to maximizing results and strengthening the position of OpCo.
- To lead the new product development / innovation, renovation, value engineering of dairy portfolio as per business plan
- Improvement and working with the finance team in existing Products Margins for Powder Portfolio
- Technical support in terms of trouble shooting, testing, trials & commercial production for powders
- Support in enhancement & upgradation of product testing capability for Powders
- Support to planning / procurement for cost effective materials & suppliers for Powders

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Food Science & Technology Or Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Work experience ~ 2-5 years)

Safety:

Functional:
The position focuses on the development of new Powders products, improvement in existing product margins, maintaining safety and health guidelines, providing technical support in troubleshooting & process design and up gradation of testing capabilities.
- Roll out and execute strategy of new product development projects to achieve the 12Q plan of Powders
- Execute margin enhancement projects to maximize margin and achieve business financial objectives
- Advice stakeholders at request or at own initiative based on R&D matters and act as first point of contact for stakeholders
- Implement the product development FoQus guidelines, Food Safety, Halal & SQM procedures in new innovations and launches.
- Ensure the compliance of new developments with local and international food laws
- Coordinate with regional/global team on business-oriented projects for their smooth execution
- Ensures technology development in the areas of recipes and ingredients, processing, packaging, nutrition and sensory
- Develop the health and safety culture within the department and implement fully the company health and safety program to minimize accidents
- Train and develop R&D team to improve knowledge base to maximize project output
- Coordination and supervising regional/global sensory sessions of ice cream and dairy
- Utilization of pilot plant facilities and equipment in a best possible way to save the commercial trials cost
- Identify new technical opportunities to maintain company’s competitive advantage
- Provide the technical Feedback on consumer Queries raised via social media or company consumer feedback platform Taluq.
