People Advisor

At FrieslandCampina, our People Advisory Capability Pool has been an integral part of our HR operations for over a year. As a People Advisor HQ, you’ll be part of this established and international team, working alongside 15 enthusiastic People Advisors across Europe and the Americas.
In this role, you’ll support employees at our HQ and Wageningen locations (~2500 FTE), with a primary focus on R&D and Technical functions. While your scope centers on these areas, you’ll also contribute to the broader business as part of our collaborative pool—providing support across various functions such as Commerce, Supply Chain, and Finance, depending on where your expertise is most needed. You’ll work closely with a diverse group of professionals to implement HR policies, projects, and initiatives that empower employees and drive organizational success. This role requires regular travel between Amersfoort and Wageningen.
What we ask
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of Dutch labor law
- Based in the Netherlands, within reasonable travel distance from Amersfoort and Wageningen
- Fluency in English; Dutch proficiency is preferred

- Salary between €3,800 and €5,100 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 5% year-end bonus, 10% performance bonus, and a market-standard pension;
- Our way of working is hybrid and flexible. You will primarily work from our Amersfoort office, while regularly spending time in Wageningen as well.
- Card for train travel or €0.23 per km travel allowance (max 30 km one way).
- 200 hours of annual leave, the option to buy or sell 40 extra hours, and 8% holiday allowance;
- Free milk & cheese during lunch and delicious barista coffee at our headquarters.

As a People Advisor HQ, you'll have the opportunity to be a visible representative of HR and a change agent, driving the success HR at the FrieslandCampina HQ and Wageningen location. You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals to implement HR policies, projects, and initiatives that empower our employees and drive organizational success.
As a People Advisor HQ, you will be responsible for managing knowledge-intensive specialized tasks, such as individual case management for exit, performance, and illness scenarios. Working in a project-based format, you will have clear goals, timelines, and the flexibility to shift your focus where it's needed most. Leveraging a data-driven approach, you'll estimate the added value and impact of your work, ensuring that every initiative drives tangible results. With the flexibility to shift your focus across different functions such as Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and more, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across all business groups.
Main responsibilities:
- Serve as the visible representative of HR on-site
- Act as the first point of contact for individual case management at Amersfoort or Wageningen, providing support and guidance to employees and managers
- Implement HR policies, projects, and initiatives in your region or location, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage knowledge-intensive tasks such as individual case management, including illness, involuntary leave, underperformance, and grading preparation.
- Provide support with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for employees
- Support in HR projects, leveraging your expertise to drive successful outcomes
- Handle complex workforce administration tasks, including exceptions and decease, with precision and attention to detail
- Assist managers in the performance management cycle, offering guidance and support as needed
- Support in job evaluation processes to ensure fair and consistent practices
