Manager Customer Services

To manage and co-ordinate all activities of customer service Dept. within the MENA Supply chain organization, to deliver the optimum Customer service possible to Customers.

The job involves strong focus on ensuring the orders are processed and executed on time to deliver optimum service levels to the customers. Challenging environment with regards to documentation requirements and needs focus on managing the complexity of regulations in the region

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expert knowledge in Customer Service (at least 3-5 years)
  • Expert Knowledge of IT literacy in ERP’s and SAP /QAD master-data.
  • Profession MS Excel and Power-point Office skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Logistics dynamics (warehousing and transportation)
  • Distributor management and solid understanding of P&L

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver key KPI OTIF, primary sales volume achievement, cost savings and cost avoidance.
  • Project sales by month and highlight risks on a weekly basis.
  • Supervise Order processing for all Supply points.
  • Make sure analysis of Order Status Reports of all Supply points, manage and monitor vessel bookings by supply points, track shipments to ensure on time delivery of shipments.
  • Responsible to confirm invoicing and receipt of shipping documents from supply points to ensure timely delivery of shipping documents to customer.
  • Resolve issues /queries from customers with regards to orders, shipments status, and primary shipment forecast.
  • Set objectives for the CS team and perform mid/ year end appraisals.
  • Provide reports /analysis and key innovative solutions to Supply Chain Manager.
  • Facilitate insurance claims by distributors to ensure timely compensation from Insurers /underwriters.
  • Drive Supply Chain cost savings.
  • Close interaction with Logistics Manager and with shared responsibilities to deliver primary sales volumes on time in full
  • Generate and drive SC data intelligence by creating new tools and thinking out of the box mindset.
