We are looking for a confident and skilled tax professional who:
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Indirect Tax compliance, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Brings in-depth knowledge of European VAT regulations and compliance.
- Is an experienced SAP user with strong familiarity in VAT-related activities.
- Has a sharp eye for detail while maintaining oversight of the broader compliance landscape.
- Combines understanding of finance processes and accounting principles with a focus on automation, innovation, and digital transformation.
- Is analytical, practical, and solution-oriented.
- Works well both independently and in a team setting.
- Possesses strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management experience
- Is fluent in English (required); Dutch language knowledge can be beneficial

As an Indirect Tax Specialist, you will join the Corporate Indirect Tax team and work on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives, including:
- Supporting the rollout of e-invoicing and SAP S/4HANA.
- Designing and implementing automated compliance processes for packaging taxes, excise duties, and VAT.
- Troubleshooting ad hoc issues related to Indirect Tax compliance and SAP configuration.
- Collaborating closely with our Corporate Indirect Tax team in Amersfoort and our Global Business Services team in Budapest.
- Acting as a bridge between tax strategy and system operations, ensuring seamless compliance across borders.
Your insights will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to streamline and innovate within the Indirect Tax landscape of FrieslandCampina.

The team
The Corporate Indirect tax team consists currently of three people. The team is based in the Central Office of FrieslandCampina in Amersfoort.
There is a close working relationship with the Indirect Tax Compliance team in Budapest with whom you will work closely, in addition to many other teams from business or staff departments
