FrieslandCampina Ingredients is seeking a driven, inspiring and entrepreneurial Team Lead New Business Development to lead and accelerate our customer growth in North America – especially in the Performance & Active Nutrition segments.
This is more than a sales role. This is a strategic leadership position within a global innovator, responsible for establishing a sustainable pipeline of new customers, coaching a high-performing team, and working cross-functionally to bring value-driven ingredient solutions to market.

•    Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Science, Sales & Marketing, or related field
•    10+ years of B2B sales/business development experience in proteins, ingredients, or flavorings, with 5+ years leading teams
•    Proven success launching new ingredient concepts and growing sales preferably in Performance Nutrition, Active Lifestyles
•    Strong command of Value-Based Selling and consultative sales approaches
•    Commercial acumen with the ability to partner cross-functionally, manage budgets, and close deals
•    Deep knowledge of the North American market landscape and emerging trends
•    Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent
•    A growth mindset, leadership maturity, and a collaborative spirit

As our Team Lead New Business Development, you will:
•    Drive new business in key health benefit platforms across North America, with a strong focus on Performance & Active Nutrition
•    Lead the full sales cycle — from ideation to closing — and bring forward innovative solutions, product launches, and services tailored to customer needs
•    Coach and lead a team of business developers with passion, clarity and purpose; develop talent and create an inclusive, inspiring environment
•    Partner globally with stakeholders in the Netherlands and across the U.S. in Sales, R&D, Marketing, Technical Sales Support and more to execute winning strategies
•    Champion ACE & Value-Based Selling, embedding commercial excellence through tools, training, and accountability
•    Continuously improve digital selling processes and data-driven insights using SF.com and PowerBI
•    Ensure compliance, act with integrity, and lead with transparency and responsibility

Salary Range: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $175,000 and $250,000.  Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education/training, and other considerations permissible by law.  We consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records per applicable laws.
