Process Specialist
FrieslandCampina produces and sells consumer products such as dairy-based beverages, infant nutrition, cheese and desserts in many European countries, in Asia, Africa and North-America.
As a Process Specialist you will support the Record to Report operation in analyzing and identifying improvement opportunities, possible enhancement projects. Assists global management with recommendations in order to ensure coherence to improvement agenda.
You will promote process optimization and best practice sharing for bracing value creation for external / internal stakeholders. Develop and implement new processes and systems in accordance with functional plans regarding RTR. Ensure process integrity by maintaining an oversight on changes and also by linking up with global BPO framework. Support corporate or global GBS initiatives in case of need.

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Economics/Accountancy
- At least 3-5 years of relevant E2E Record to Report process experience, preferably in multinational / shared services/GBS environment
- Advanced Excel, SAP, ERP knowledge
- Prior experience in CI/Lean methodology
- Project Management, training delivery experience is considered as an advantage
- Certification in project management methodologies (eg. PMP, PRINCE2) and or Lean methodology is an advantage
- Advanced English language knowledge is required for the role

Purpose of the role:
Process specialist performs reporting and monitoring activities of RtR processes and associated process performance owned and managed by Record to Report department across multiple company codes.
Requires an understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles, end-to-end process understanding as well as good practice required for bookkeeping.
The role supports the operation in analyzing and identifying improvement opportunities and possible enhancement projects. It assists global management with recommendations to ensure coherence to the improvement agenda. The specialist promotes process optimization and best practice sharing to brace value creation for external / internal stakeholders, develops and implements new processes and systems in accordance with functional plans, and ensures process integrity by maintaining oversight on changes and linking up with the global BPO framework.
1. Ensure quality and timeliness of tasks in the field of Record to Report:
• Responsible for and supports MEC activities, including preparation of closing calendars, provides recommendations and status reports during the close.
• Ensures ICF compliance of all RtR processes, develops best practices and follows up internally to ensure timely and accurate execution of controls
• Contribution to further RtR process optimization with special attention to reporting and analytical work processes.
• Supports automation related challenges, and ensures that requirements are assessed and coherently combined with improvements
• Supports the continuous improvement (CI/LEAN) initiatives and acts as first reviewer of ideas to ensure projects are prioritized according to functional plans and strategy
• Sets development framework for departmental policies, procedures, and SOP documentation
2. Projects and process optimization:
• Take part in and manage and execute (or ensure execution of) assigned business finance-related internal or external GBS projects (mainly regional and global) – promoting effectiveness and efficiency in day-to-day operation in line with the project management guidelines.
• Signal bottle necks in (work) processes and advice regarding improvements in processes and procedures, and ensure implementation after approval.
• Contribute and coordinate RtR department process, projects and system improvement initiatives
