The Customer Collaboration & Performance Manager role contributes to FrieslandCampina’s success by driving strong collaboration and performance across the entire customer supply chain. The Customer Collaboration & Performance Manager acts as a strategic partner for key customers (strategic & developing), ensuring seamless integration of processes and fostering long-term relationships. The focus is on optimizing collaboration, improving processes and monitoring service levels for all customers, and aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience and sustainable growth.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the FMCG sector
- Knowledge of operational & supply chain processes of customers
- Knowledge of cost drivers of customer supply chain
- Advanced knowledge of SAP & MS Office package

The Customer Collaboration & Performance Manager is part of the Customer Supply Chain Professional within the business group FrieslandCampina Professional. BG Professional is responsible for selling, planning, producing, and delivering products globally across different channels.
Key responsibilities of the role:
Customer Collaboration:
- Builds and maintains strong, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders across supply chain and broader business functions
- Acts as the primary point of contact for strategic collaboration topics, ensuring alignment on end-to-end processes and performance goals
- Ensure the right customer service levels and proactively optimize processes to improve the customer journey
- Understands the customer’s internal processes, needs, and strategic objectives to co-create tailored improvement plans that go beyond supply chain optimization
- Facilitates discussions on overall customer experience and satisfaction, initiating improvement initiatives across the full customer supply chain
- Negotiates and manages customer-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in collaboration with Sales, balancing internal capabilities and external expectations
- Contributes to commercial success by integrating logistical and broader collaboration aspects into proposals and strategic plans
- Drives strategic and tactical thinking on how to serve customers in the short and long term, aligned with FrieslandCampina’s strategy – focusing on collaboration rather than operational execution
Performance & Process Improvement:
- Monitors, evaluates, and reports customer performance metrics (e.g., service level, timeliness, efficiency, cost-to-serve) internally and externally
- Monitor customer performance KPIs with GBDS team (mainly for strategic and developing customers) and escalate service issues with GBDS and drive solutions to solve issues properly
- Monitor performance management KPIs on category/country level with GBDS team (mainly for tactical and operational customers) and escalate service issues with GBDS and drive solutions to solve issues properly
- Proactively analyzes end-to-end processes and agreements, identifies bottlenecks, and advises on improvements that enhance collaboration and efficiency
- Initiates and leads optimization initiatives in partnership with Sales, Logistics, Suppl and demand teams, ensuring implementation and measurable impact
- Creates awareness of customer-related costs and performance drivers within FrieslandCampina to support sustainable and profitable relationships
Sustainability:
- Promotes FrieslandCampina’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals in all customer interactions
- Identifies and implements sustainability improvements within customer collaboration and supply chain processes
Projects & Change Management:
- Initiates, leads, and participates in cross-functional projects aimed at improving efficiency, service levels, sustainability, and customer experience
- Manages implementation of changes impacting customer collaboration and supply chain processes, ensuring compliance with FrieslandCampina’s commercial and operational guidelines
Networking & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Builds and maintains a strong network of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry organizations
- Acts as a connector between Sales, GBDS, Supply Chain, and other departments to deliver optimal end-to-end solutions for customers
