Senior Local IT Support Specialist (GBS)
The Senior IT Support Specialist is responsible to proactively solve problems and provide timely resolution of IT problems to ensure minimal impact to customer and employee satisfaction. Act as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders and as a backup of the line manager.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (ideally in Information Technology or equivalent)
At least 4-5 years of experience in the field of IT support, preferably at a multinational company
Advanced knowledge of Windows endpoint systems and MS Office based systems
Proven knowledge of Digital Workplace
Basic SSCM/Config Manager knowledge & basic networking knowledge
Bsic AV/Online Event experiences
Experience from a shared service environment is a strong adventage
Good communication skills (verbally and in writing)
Ability to understand end-to-end business processes and translate business problems and value opportunities into process and technology solutions. Persuasiveness Excellent language proficiency in English
Ability to work precisely and independently
Ability to cope with resistance
Service minded
Good organizational and co-ordination skills

IT Support:
- Act as IT business partner to the business and as Local IT site coordinator
- Proactively solve problems and provide timely resolution
- Review Incident tickets and handle the company's ticketing system
- Escalates problems to higher level stakeholders and external service providers
- In the absence of the IT Manager coordinate the work of the onsite IT team, allocate tasks among team members
- Keep continuous and direct contact with the management in the Netherlands and in Malaysia
- Install and configure computer hardware
- Manage computer hardware inventory, order devices
- Provide IT induction for new joiners
Projects and process optimization:
- Participate in implementation and/or process improvement projects
- Contribute ideas to the process improvement within own field of expertise/department and execute assigned projects, within the project management guidelines
