Building Teams from Scratch and Becoming a Leader

Zsuzsanna joined FrieslandCampina GBS EMEA Center in 2017 when the company opened its office in Budapest. She started as a Senior Talent Specialist, and her team was involved in building up the Finance SSC. From the beginning, she felt that FrieslandCampina always gave her the opportunity to follow her interests, deepen her professional expertise, and explore new territories within HR. Two years later, she moved on to an HRBP role, and since 2023, she has been responsible for HR Administration and Compensation at the company. As she mentioned, “I can truly say that FrieslandCampina made me the HR professional I am today.”

Today, she is working on a project that she is most proud of. She is the Process Lead and country SPOC for the global HR transformation project, as well as the Team Leader for the Hungarian HR Administration team. Besides coordinating the monthly administration and payroll closing rhythm of the entity, she spends most of her time building up the brand-new People Services and Solutions team. This project is having a direct impact on the future of the HR organisation

Growing Professionally as a Working Mom

The key driver for Zsuzsanna, both as an HR professional and as a mother of two, is to become a role model in supporting others. “In each and every position I have fulfilled at FrieslandCampina so far, I was part of something stimulating and engaging: from the set-up of the first SSC teams, to implementing and developing classic HR functions, to supporting different reorganisations and global initiatives. Through these opportunities, I became a better professional each and every day.”

Her key driver in both her private life and work is to show genuine interest in the issues people may face and to improve the lives of others with real solutions. She cares about others and strives to say what she thinks and to live up to the promises she makes. Being trustworthy and resilient helps her to build strong relationships and to enrich herself and her career through changes.
