Title
Growing through new roles and new perspectives

Content

Supaporn Wannakayont or friendly called as Arm, joined FrieslandCampina Thailand in April 2022. She started as a Key Account Manager for Modern Trade and was promoted to Senior Key Account Manager within a year. Soon after, she took on a very different challenge by moving into the role of General Trade Business Development Manager. Before joining FrieslandCampina, Arm worked across several industries, including aviation, FMCG, and consumer electronics. This mix of experiences helped her adapt quickly and stay open to learning.

I enjoy challenges and learning new things. At FrieslandCampina, I’m often encouraged to step out of my comfort zone.

Learning beyond borders with Tiger Cubs

Through FrieslandCampina Asia’s Tiger Cubs program, Arm had the opportunity to work closely with BG Asia for six months. This experience gave her exposure to regional ways of working and allowed her to learn directly from senior leaders.

One of her key assignments was working as Project Manager for the ‘One DT Management’ project. The project aimed to create shared standards for distributor management across different OpCos in Asia. Arm worked with teams from multiple countries to understand current practices and find common ways of working. The project is currently being piloted in Thailand, helping the team test and improve the approach before expanding it further.

Tiger Cubs helped me see the bigger picture. I learned how important it is to listen, explain the benefits, and work together rather than pushing ideas top-down.
