The Director People Services&Solutions role leading Human Resources (HR) Operations for the regions of Europe, Africa & Americas.
Working as a member of the Global HR Operations Leadership pool, this role is accountable for overall long term strategic goals within our HR Promise to create business value and high employee engagement by having diverse talent, and a fit workplace, enabled by a leading HR function ultimately establishing Royal Friesland Campina and its companies being a great place to work.
This role is fully responsible for operational leadership of People Services and Solutions (PS&S) function. The scope includes total HR Operations of a hub in Hungary, and retained HR Operations in the 14 countries within the regions covered. Within the years of 2025 to 2026, the scope will include the formation, migration of remaining countries into the hub.

Build & manage HR operations
- Build a high performing SSC HR organization for Europe, Africa & Americas, that drives End to End HR Operations through a simple, easy to understand structure that makes HR agile, adaptable, and quick, through standardizing, digitization and consolidating foundational work to deliver People Services & Solutions to the business
- Overseeing the day-to-day work of the HR department, including hiring, employee satisfaction, and HR record keeping
- Drive operational performance and service excellence within the HR SSC and monitor performance of the team against performance/quality standards (SLA’s) defined
- Manage strategic relationships and be the contract owner with third-party vendors who deliver services to the HR organization
Managing & Improving HR policies & procedure operations
- Partners with the COEs in development, implementation, and continuous refinement of HR policies and procedures Leading the HR Operations for Europe and developing towards a SSC for Africa & Americas in line with global blueprint
- Developing plans to improve HR processes working with Systems and Digitalization to make them more efficient
- Ensuring the company follows all relevant HR laws and regulations through retain HR operations insights
Managing HR annual processes
- Assisting with the preparation and management of HR annual processes such as performance management, compensation planning, and benefits open enrollment
Team Leadership
- Directing, leading, coaching, mentoring, driving high performing teams across HR Operations
- Creates a culture of continuous improvement and business continuity as a practice within HR
- Developing and implementing training to enhance the team's skills and knowledge
Stakeholders
- Navigating multiple layers in the organization from EB to local sales teams, connecting to multiple disciplines in the organization, from BGs to Corporate Finance, R&D, Strategy, IT or HR
