To be successful in this position, you are/have:
- A strong background in sales, distribution, or trade marketing
- Academic education: bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in food or dairy
- Proven experience in managing and growing distribution in the traditional trade channel
- Affinity with Foodservice channel
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution
- Experience working with sales targets, KPIs, and budget planning
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A team player who can work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region
- Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English

As Area Sales Manager – El Gallo Azul, you will be responsible for:
1. Distribution Expansion
- Develop and execute a distribution strategy focused on the traditional trade and Foodservice channel
- Ensure product availability and visibility in key regions and outlets
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors / customers / chefs
- Provide training and support to partners on product knowledge and brand positioning
- Act as the main point of contact for all sales-related activities in your area
3. Sales Execution & Performance
- Set and monitor sales targets and distribution KPIs for your region
- Drive sell-in and sell-out performance through effective planning and execution
- Monitor stock levels, order cycles, and promotional activities
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Gather insights from the field to inform commercial strategy
- Track competitor activity and market trends in the traditional trade and foodservice channel
- Report regularly on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges
5. Brand Activation Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support local activations and POS deployment
- Build strong communities and activities around El Gallo Azul users (e.g. Marquesiteros, Chefs)
- Ensure brand consistency and visibility at the point of sale
