In this role, on the border of customer supply chain & IT, you will lead several projects in the domain of Order to Cash, EWM and logistic hardware. You are the first point of contact for colleagues of Customer Operations for EDI and the first point of contact for warehousing & distribution for logistic hardware. You will be part of the to Europe Customer Supply Chain organization.

The ideal candidate is:
- Punctual, structured, has a strong independency and is analytical strong
- Fluent in spoken & written english. Knowledge of spoken & written dutch is a plus.
- Cultural awareness & able to work in a multinational & multicultural environment
- Minimum bachelor degree in Supply Chain or IT environment. Or proven equality based on experience (with a minimum of 5 years experience in IT or supply chain environment)
- Project management experience (as project member a must, as project manager
- a plus)
- Willingness to continuously and develop on new (business) IT topics
- Knowledge of Supply chain software (SAP, MSTR, Power BI, …)

Accountabilities
1. general
As Senior Application Specialist; on the bridge between business & IT, you’ll have following
responsibilities :
• Be first point of contact for the customer Operation teams for both EDI and VMI topics. Things will entail both setting up new customers, ways of working and operation problem solving. In this role you will support multiple teams across Europe. Be first point of contact for the Warehousing & distribution team for local hardware: support team in complex problem solving (scanners, automated warehousing in Maasdam) and be the SPOC in the realization of our automation & digitization roadmap (new hardware, SAP4HANA, time slot & yard management solutions, API,…)
• Lead projects in the domain of digitization & automation in order to support our Performance+ and expedition2030 agenda.
2. Detail:
1. EDI & LSP implementations
- Support local business with new or changing EDI & LSP interfaces.
- Assist in set-up of test scenario’s, perform/assist ITC2, UAT.
- Support go-live and hypercare.
- Work towards 1 way of working for all LSP’s & customer EDI network
2. Continuous improvements
- Support local key-users in analyzing business processes resulting in possible improvements.
- Implementing improvements or new way of working.
- Ensure a smooth handover to “business as usual”.
- Blue print improvement
3. Coordination/projects
- Keep overview of running improvements projects and CR’s.
- Make sure projects or issues are prioritized and dispatched to the correct party.
- Alignment with other process streams in case of integration topics.
- Participate in projects related to the OTD / EWM / OTC domain
- Lead projects on EDI / logistic hardware / PW improvements
4. Central key-user OTD /EWM / OT
- Assist local key-user in logging CR’s, follow-up and escalation towards PTO/VCS if needed.
- Set up key-user meetings: share best practices, share knowledge.
5. Network
- Central point of contact for Customer Supply Chain application domain
- Communication link between business, local/global IT, external IT
- Close co-operation, back-up and constant knowledge sharing with central key-users
6. Support
- For recurring issues on SAP, help business find a solution. Log CR or assist in determining a different
way of working.
- Assist in solving operational issues if local key-user is not available.
- Provide extra training for local key-user if required.
7. Know how
- Keep updated on new developments within FC template.
