Logistics Account Manager
Manage FrieslandCampina’ s Warehouse and Logistics area with Logistics Service Provider to oversee the movement of raw & pack materials and finished goods from the moment these goods enter the company warehouse or LSP’s warehouses up until the moment they are shipped and safely arrived at the customer storage facility whilst keeping safety and quality as top priority. Also identify gap and improvement opportunities related to warehouse and logistics both of FCT and LSP facilities.

Stellenbeschreibung
Strategy
• Lead the Customer SC Logistics strategic plan and provide input to the Customer SC Strategy for the Opco and to the Business Group.
• Sets up and implements warehousing and logistics distribution year plans for the Opco, including budgets, and in line with the strategy of the Business Group and the Opco and its financial and other business objectives, which gives guidance for the activities of the logistics department both improvements and initiatives.
• Includes Logistic Service Provider (LSP) strategy in warehousing and logistics distribution year plans and oversees correct approach on LSP tendering (i.e. market exploration, tendering process, LSP selection and contracting) in line with set strategy.
• Responsible for the selection, price negotiation and management of LSP, in line with the Category Procurement Strategy and the Business Procurement Strategy, in order to enable a continuous and uninterrupted warehouse flow. This in close collaboration with Procurement and Business Group Customer Service and Logistics Excellence teams
Logistics Service Provider Management
• Ensures proper functioning of warehousing operations and logistics distribution, in line with the Fighting Units strategy and year plans, in order to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
• Accountable for the performance (safety, quality, finance, etc.) of both owned warehouses as well as the third-party logistics providers, also for issues related with food safety, to ensure quality and cost-efficient warehousing and transport of the agreed products and the timely delivery of the products.
• Participates in Community of Practice and drive local implementation of BG Excellence initiatives.
Team Management
• Manages the department in such a way that the work is carried out effectively.
• Leads and develops a team (incl. team leads if applicable) through coaching and feedback to maximize performance of themselves and their respective teams.
• Be a supportive and active team member, creating an inspiring environment enabling development and growth.
• Foster the reputation of the team as the expert in in their field by building strong bonds of trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders.
