Machine Learning Engineer
Design, develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models to extract insights from complex datasets, in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Translate business requirements into effective solutions, ensuring the continuous improvement of model performance. Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production systems; this contributes to FrieslandCampina's commitment to innovation and global impact in the dairy industry.
Was wir erwarten
- Has a strong knowledge of Python and SQL and is well-versed in the best practices of Software development.
- Extensive knowledge of the data ingestion framework and its tooling. Experience in building an end-to-end ETL pipeline using a code-based methodology.
- Solid understanding of the DevOps way of working with hands-on experience in developing and implementing production-ready CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure and Infrastructure as a code tool like Terraform or Azure Bicep is preferred.
- Has strong hands-on ability to design, develop, and implement machine learning models to derive insights from complex datasets.
- Knowledge of MLOps and hands-on experience in streamlining the process of taking machine learning models to production, and then maintaining and monitoring them.
- Hands-on experience in building data science use cases and implementing them in production using MLOps framework and Databricks.

Stellenbeschreibung
- Design, develop and implement machine learning models to extract relevant information from large and complex datasets. Take care of organising data, like scheduling tasks, and building/managing complex data pipelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective machine learning solutions.
- Keep up with the latest developments in machine learning and data science. Use innovative methods to make models perform better and faster.
- Check the data pipelines made by other developers, to make sure they follow best practice and help teams to get better over time.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and integrate machine learning models into systems that are actively used.
- Assure an "Always On" and future-proof data science landscape (from a backend perspective).
- Proactively identify and solve problems to make sure the data science infrastructure is reliable and scalable.
