Maintenance Shift Manager
The Maintenance Shift Manager leads site maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. This role executes the annual maintenance plan, leads and develops the maintenance team, and partners closely with production to balance equipment performance, compliance, cost, and operational priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years of leadership experience in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment OR
Associate’s/technical degree with 5+ years of leadership experience in a similar setting - Experience leading teams in a union environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement (5S, CI, Six Sigma)
- Experience working with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Ability to lead with a safety-first mindset and enforce QHSE, regulatory, and quality standards
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Stellenbeschreibung
The Maintenance Shift Manager is responsible for ensuring maintenance activities support production objectives and site performance targets. This role translates technical standards and policies into effective daily execution while leading a team with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing the annual maintenance plan and coordinating with production to minimize downtime
- Leading preventive maintenance, complex troubleshooting, repairs, equipment upgrades, replacements, and new build support
- Managing maintenance work requests and priorities within the CMMS (SAP)
- Coaching, developing, and motivating the maintenance team, including training and skills development
- Ensuring strict compliance with QHSE, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Supervising internal technicians and external contractors
- Analyzing performance trends and implementing improvement initiatives
- Supporting maintenance budgeting and advising on technical policy improvements
This is an exempt position, typically working Monday–Friday, with flexibility required to support equipment issues, installations, audits, or training as needed.

The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including years of work experience, education/training, and other considerations permissible by law.
