Finance Manager APAC
We are looking for a Finance manager for our APAC region. The Regional Sales Office APAC ("Regional Sales Office")acts as an agent for FrieslandCampina Ingredients in The Netherlands. You are the finance business partner to the Director Ingredients APAC and member of the Ingredients APAC Business Lead Team. Functionally you are reporting to the Manager Commercial Controlling Go-to-Market (GtM) in The Netherlands. You are located in Singapore and occasionally need based travel is required.
In your role you are responsible for driving the Finance Accounting & Controlling function (included processes/systems).

To be successful in this role you have:
- Master’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
- 8-10 years in business development/finance
- A high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant
- Experience to work in an international environment
- Establish the right foundation for effective financial management including reporting
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Ability to partner with the business and drive thinking that involves high levels of collaboration
- Influencing stakeholders (both locally and globally)

Your responsibilities are divided into 4 pillars
Drive an effective way of working within F&A
- Drive performance management of RSO / act as a business partner for the commercial Ingredients team in APAC.
- Proactively advise management in decisions with substantial financial consequences and take care of financial analyses to support these decisions, to ensure financial awareness in decision making and to minimize financial risks.
- Drive data-driven commercial execution incl. the use of business intelligence tools (PowerBI)
Planning & Control
- Control the process budgeting and forecasting of APAC, take corrective actions when necessary and ensure adequate reporting, within the corporate guidelines, to ensure that the department delivers its budgets and financial targets are realized.
- Drive strategic planning and monitoring (incl corrective actions / adjustments).
- Provide adequate and reliable financial management information and consolidate information.
- Monitor the Working Capital and takes action to control/optimize the DSO.
- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the RSO's risk profile.
- Monitor all open legal issues involving the RSO.
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage key stakeholder and build strong relationships
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the APAC team,
- Collaborate with Global corporate departments (legal, tax, IT, Financial Shared Service Center etc.) in Singapore, the Netherlands and Malaysia.
- Act as the regional functional lead for finance controllership, collaborating with key stakeholders in the region and APAC management.
- Drive strategic business initiatives, partnerships and projects for the region

The organization is divided into two market segments: Early Life & Cell Nutrition, focusing on ingredients for infant nutrition and research in the area of cell nutrition, and Adult Nutrition, with subsegments focusing on Performance Nutrition, Active Nutrition and Medical Nutrition. Our ingredients are mainly developed and produced for Business-to-Business purposes. This means that we deliver ingredients and semi-finished products to our external customers, for them to use in their end products and sell them to consumers all over the world, depending on the specific market segment.
