“If I had to describe my journey in one word, it would be: Growth.”
When Heidi looks back at her first days in FrieslandCampina Hong Kong, what stands out is not just how much has changed, but how much has remained deeply consistent. “The business has grown, systems have evolved, and the organization has become more global,” she reflects. “But the relationships, the trust, the teamwork, the sense of harmony, those have stayed the same. That’s rare.”
Before joining FrieslandCampina, Heidi built her career in cosmetic industry. Her decision to join was both personal and strategic. Having her child grown up with Friso the brand, and witnessing the strong market leadership of Black & White in Hong Kong, she was drawn to a company where brand strength met meaningful impact. More importantly, she found herself surrounded by colleagues who joined around the same time, many of whom remain part of her journey today.

Stepping beyond comfort zones
As the dedicated procurement lead in Hong Kong, Heidi plays a uniquely critical role, bridging global strategy with local execution. A defining moment was leading the rollout of multiple global transformation projects in Hong Kong, including digital procurement systems and vendor optimization initiatives.
“I was empowered to represent Hong Kong in global projects while ensuring local implementation worked effectively,” she explains. “With strong support from both global teams and local leadership, we were able to deliver solutions that truly made a difference.” From manual Excel-based purchase orders 11 years ago to today’s fully digital, world-class systems, Heidi has not only witnessed transformation, she has helped drive it.

A culture that surprises
For those outside, what might be least expected about FrieslandCampina Hong Kong is its culture“It’s flat and inclusive,” Heidi shares. “You can openly communicate with senior leaders, and your voice is genuinely heard.” Beyond day-to-day work, she contributes to shaping employee experience as part of the Staff Club. Organizing “Lunch & Learn” sessions and connecting colleagues through shared learning moments, from chocolate workshops to cultural celebrations. “It’s these small moments that make work more meaningful.”
What makes Heidi most proud isn’t just the projects she has led, but the journey itself. “I’ve grown with the company. And at the same time, I’ve contributed to its growth.” That mutual journey reflects what “Unleash Your Nature” truly means in action, creating an environment where people can continuously evolve, contribute, and belong.
“If you’re looking for a place where you can grow, be trusted, and work in a truly collaborative environment. this is it,” she says. “The values here are not just words. You experience them every day.” The main reason to love FrieslandCampina Hong Kong is that it is a culture where growth is not just encouraged, it’s shared.
