Currently we have an intern position available in the Direct Materials team for Category Procurement at FrieslandCampina.
This position will give you the opportunity to experience category procurement dynamics at a global level, being part of a truly international team (we have more than 13 nationalities across both teams).

You have to be enrolled in B.A., BSc or Masters during the entire internship.
We are looking for somebody who is proactive, with good communication skills and who is eager to learn and has an appetite for delivering results. English proficiency is required.
Excel skills and/or PowerBI are a plus.
Preferred start-date: flexible start dates from September 2026 – January 2027
You are available to work within the department for 4-5 days a week (with a Hybrid working model)
During your internship, you will join the Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients Team and will support with:
- Market analysis for different Dairy Ingredients sub-categories (e.g.: Lactose, Whey Powders, Acid Casein, SMP, WMP, etc.) to support the strategy development.
- Support with sustainability roadmaps.
- Support in tender processes.
- Support on structuring spend data and category analysis.
- Improve contract and quality control compliance.

You will be part of the Global Category Procurement team, supporting the team to organize their strategies, deliver savings & value in order for maximize success for FrieslandCampina.
You will also work closely with the finance team on budget setting, cost breakdown definition and value drivers.
Joining the Procurement department will bring you in contact with other departments such as R&D, Sales and Marketing at a global level as well as external stakeholders.
