Senior General Manager Corporate Finance
To support the Finance Director in safeguarding and optimizing the Company’s Balance Sheet, treasury strategy, financial reporting integrity, and enterprise risk framework.
The role forms part of the Leadership Team Extended (LTX), contributing to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and directly leading Corporate Finance transformation priorities. The position drives capital efficiency, strengthens governance and controls, oversees tax and regulatory interface, manages banking and insurance partnerships, and ensures operational excellence across shared services and master data governance.
The role also stewards Corporate Finance team performance by aligning functional objectives with Company strategy, FrieslandCampina Finance Business Group priorities, and organizational values, while continuously driving improvements in cost optimization, capital utilization, liquidity management, compliance, and control effectiveness

- Chartered Accountant (ICAP or equivalent)
- Significant experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Financial Reporting, Tax Governance, and Risk Management
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional finance teams
- Experience interacting with financial institutions, regulators, and industry forums preferred

1. Balance Sheet, Reporting & Financial Governance
- Lead Balance Sheet optimization including capital allocation, capital rationing, and cost of funds reduction.
- Ensure integrity and hygiene of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts.
- Oversee statutory and management reporting in compliance with IFRS, RFC policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, reconciliations, proof sheet governance, and close cycle efficiency.
- Present financial statements, risk exposures, and technical accounting matters to the Board Audit Committee (BAC).
- Drive continuous improvement and automation within financial reporting and closing processes.
2. Treasury & Corporate Finance Management
- Lead liquidity planning and working capital optimization ensuring availability of funds for operational and strategic priorities.
- Manage capital structure and dividend planning aligned with shareholder expectations.
- Lead negotiations and maintain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure optimal financing structures.
- Monitor cost of funds, foreign exchange exposure, and financial risk mitigation strategies.
3. Tax Strategy & Regulatory Management
- Develop and implement Company-wide tax strategy to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide strategic tax advisory across business functions to support commercial and operational decision-making.
- Oversee tax audits, litigation, assessments, and case resolution.
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
- Act as primary interface with regulatory and industry bodies including FBR, SECP, OICCI, and PBC.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on financial and operational implications.
4. Enterprise Risk, Insurance & Business Continuity
- Lead Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework including risk identification, mitigation tracking, and governance reporting.
- Manage corporate insurance program ensuring optimal coverage and cost efficiency.
- Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) readiness across the organization through governance, training, and testing.
5. Shared Services, Master Data & Operational Excellence
- Provide strategic oversight of Shared Services Payables and Master Data Management ensuring efficiency, compliance, and data integrity.
- Drive payment governance, vendor compliance, and operational KPIs.
- Lead digital transformation and technology adoption initiatives to enhance finance operations and control environments.
6. Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner with Agri Business in Farmer Finance and Loyalty initiatives to enhance value chain sustainability.
- Provide oversight and reporting transparency over milk procurement economics including pricing, recoveries, and payment governance.
- Support cross-functional initiatives to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
7. Performance Delivery & Strategic Projects
- Lead Corporate Finance deliverables under the Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP).
- Provide financial input into business strategy, investment decisions, and shareholder value initiatives.
- Lead and deliver company-level corporate finance transformation and ad-hoc strategic projects.
- Contribute to leadership initiatives under the LTX governance structure.
8. Controls, Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with Internal Control Framework (ICF) and corporate governance requirements.
- Maintain strong audit outcomes across internal and external audits.
- Ensure timely execution of financial controls and statutory obligations.
9. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Maintain strong engagement with:
- RFC Corporate Finance and Treasury teams
- External auditors and consultants
- Financial institutions and insurers
- Regulatory and industry bodies
- Senior leadership and divisional stakeholders
10. People Leadership & Functional Stewardship
- Set and align team objectives with Company strategy and FrieslandCampina Finance Business Group priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost optimization, capital utilization, liquidity management, and compliance standards.
- Lead talent development, succession planning, and team engagement initiatives.
- Build a high-performance, future-ready Corporate Finance organization.
