Assistant Manager Supply Planning - Dairy
The position of supply planning lead is responsible for E2E supply planning across the dairy portfolio, including demand-supply match, rough cut capacity planning, material resource planning, production scheduling and inventory management. Ensures a resilient and efficient supply chain through robust planning processes and strong cross-functional alignment to deliver cost-efficient and timely production.

Qualification:
- Master's / bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Advanced/Professional certifications (such as APICS CPIM/CSCP) is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in supply planning (Pref: 1 to 2 years in lead role in any FCMP/dairy company), with strong expertise in ERP/SAP and planning tools.
Skills:
- Expertise in FMCG/dairy supply planning, S&OP process, MPS, MRP, inventory management, and capacity planning & utilization
- Ability to optimize supply efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Anura) and planning tools, processes and workflows
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Excellent cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management

- The Supply Planner Lead – is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end supply planning activities across the dairy portfolio. This role ensures consistent product availability through effective demand–supply alignment, optimized capacity utilization, and efficient production and material planning processes.
- Key responsibilities include developing and managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), and Detailed Production Scheduling to ensure that production plans are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with demand forecasts. The role also involves driving both short- and long-term capacity planning, identifying constraints, and proposing solutions to support business growth and operational stability.
- The Supply Planner Lead acts as a central point of coordination between Production, Quality, Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of plans. This includes monitoring inventory levels, ensuring FEFO compliance, minimizing write-offs, and resolving supply bottlenecks proactively.
- Additionally, the role requires active participation in S&OP processes, ensuring data accuracy, and presenting supply scenarios, risks, and opportunities. The planner is expected to continuously improve planning processes, strengthen system utilization (e.g., SAP/ERP), and support cost optimization initiatives through efficient resource planning.
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring a resilient, agile, and customer-focused supply chain by maintaining strong cross-functional alignment and driving operational excellence across all planning phases.
- Responsible for Rough cut capacity planning for the dairy business as input for commercial 12Q plans, capacity optimization and volume allocation decisions across sites.
